Overhaul and Parcel Perform to transform supply chain visibility for e-commerce

Overhaul, a provider of real-time supply chain visibility and risk management solutions, and Parcel Perform, the leading Data and Delivery Experience Platform, are excited to announce their partnership, which will equip Overhaul’s enterprise customers with a wider breadth of experience throughout their supply chain.

This partnership leverages Parcel Perform’s comprehensive data pipeline that aggregates all logistics event data across 1,045 carriers into one cohesive global standard. Parcel Perform’s harmonized data standard comprises more than 155 standard events and is available in 36 languages.

The logistics data is further refined by layering location and timezone data alongside crucial information such as carrier EDDs, proof-of-delivery, and shipping products. The refinement of data allows Parcel Perform to ensure high data quality and granularity that power advanced real-time tracking and logistics data capabilities.

By tapping on Parcel Perform’s industry-leading data, Overhaul can now offer enriched insights on the location and condition of shipments during the last mile. For instance, Overhaul’s customers can find out where their shipments are at any given time and understand their current state with just a glance.

Parcel Perform’s data intelligence is also expected to contribute significantly to Overhaul’s supply chain platform and its industry-leading RiskGPT, a new AI-driven feature that allows a user to instantly and intuitively process high-risk events to better manage and mitigate a greater volume of risks.

Over $1.2 trillion in cargo value moved through the Overhaul platform in 2023. By integrating with Parcel Perform’s carrier and last-mile updates, Overhaul’s extensive customer base will be able to track large volumes of shipments, identify and resolve issues more swiftly, and optimize their delivery performance–all from Overhaul’s supply chain platform.

In a joint effort with Parcel Perform, Overhaul now offers complete last-mile visibility to its customers, primarily for Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) and parcel freight. This is a significant development for Overhaul’s customers in the high-end retail, electronics, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and food industries, who can now benefit from greater oversight of their pallet or carton movements, including those shipped directly from foreign origins.

With granular visibility into the transportation of their high-valued cargo or temperature-sensitive products, especially when traveling through complicated networks or multiple modes, these customers can be confident that their goods are being kept safe throughout the supply chain.

“E-commerce logistics is becoming more complex and demanding as customer expectations rise and supply chains face disruptions. We are thrilled to partner with Overhaul to provide their customers with cutting-edge visibility and risk management to help them overcome these challenges and deliver outstanding service to their customers,” said Arne Jeroschewski, CEO of Parcel Perform.

“Overhaul is committed to helping businesses achieve supply chain excellence by providing them with real-time data and actionable insights that can improve their efficiency, reliability, and profitability. We are delighted to partner with Parcel Perform, a leader in e-commerce logistics, to offer enhanced solutions to our customers and help them achieve a new level of supply chain visibility,” said David Warrick, EVP of Enterprise at Overhaul.

The partnership between Overhaul and Parcel Perform will benefit the industry as a whole by setting a new standard for supply chain visibility in e-commerce logistics. By prioritizing this aspect of operations, e-commerce businesses can improve their supply chains’ overall performance and quality, which can benefit both businesses and consumers. This news creates an opportunity for stakeholders in the industry to learn about and explore new ways to optimize their supply chain operations, which can ultimately lead to improved outcomes and greater success.
