During the month of July 2024, cargo theft in Mexico decreased 4.6% compared to the previous month (June 2024) and remained at the same number of thefts as July 2023.

result in legal action and insurance cancellations

We’re seeing the actors who perform these thefts become more organized and sophisticated, even around these low-tech thefts.

During the month of June 2024, cargo theft in Mexico decreased 4.2% compared to the previous month (May 2024) and increased 4.1% compared to June 2023.

What we are seeing is a surge in cargo, as shippers book earlier and
perhaps more containers than normal
